Today is my Dad's 66th birthday, and we never ran out of ideas on how we should celebrate it, last year we surprised him on the eve of his birthday. It was fun and I never seen my dad so happy. The surprise birthday party was all mom's idea. Mom is now gone, today Dad will celebrate his birthday without Mom for the first time, it's just him and my brother, while I stay here in Manila and my sister is now out of the country. Ever since Mom died it feels like nothing is worth celebrating.
There will be more birthdays like this, more Christmases, New Year's.
We misss Mom.
